             David Sholl–was born in Cleveland but has lived in the Boston area for over twenty years.   David works in oil, pastels, acrylics, and watercolor.   He holds a degree in Studio Art from Bucknell University where he was awarded the Phi Beta Kappa Prize for Creativity, and has done graduate work at the Mass. College of Art.
             His work has been shown throughout New England, including the Field Gallery, Marthas Vineyard, and the Centre Street Gallery on Nantucket.  He has studios at Brickbottom in Somerville, MA and another in Hyde Park, MA, where he resides.
             David Sholl is also an accomplished saxophonist & songwriter.  For the last few years Dave has been with the Boston-based band, “Four Piece Suit.”  You can visit the band’s website at www.fourpiecesuit.com
             Dave’s sax can be heard on nearly two dozen CD’s–his musical compositions are heard on several CDs and the HBO series, “Sex and the City.”  He is also a member of the surf/instro band, “The Fathoms.”
             At Dare Family Services’ Roxbury, Massachusetts facility Dave began and still conducts “The Jam Plan”, a music recording program for inner-city youth.
